Can he really be 7?!?!

One month ago today our firstborn turned seven years old.
To celebrate we had a NERF party.

A pretty loud, chaotic NERF party that included an obstacle course and a shoot out war then cake and ice cream and opening of gifts.

As usual, Dan was in charge of games.  He is the "camp" guy you know and is much better at things like this than I am.  He is also in charge of decorating the cake.  This time it was a NERF dart.

We have been very blessed to have groups of children wherever we go for our children to play with.  And like our team in Paraguay, here there is not a shortage of boys!

However these two girls, Grace & Hattie, live across the street and have become very good friends with our boys.  Dan & I also enjoy hanging out with their parents Josh & Heather.  Every day after lunch (if school work is finished) Eli & Toby run out to play with them.

Our family of SEVEN celebrating our first blessing turning SEVEN!!
(This was also Judah's first big outing with a crowd and he-and me- did pretty well.)

Eli loves to be outside running, climbing, and sword fighting.  He is very analytical and passionate, who fights for justice; a leader in the making.   Eli has turned into a handsome young boy with a strong, courageous heart.  We see the Spirit working in his life and are so proud to see his character developing into a virtuous young boy.
