We have MUCH to be thankful for!
Every year we pick a night to write down some of the things we are thankful for as a family.
As the children are getting older, we are realizing even more the importance of helping them grow an attitude of gratitude and how much our attitudes are affecting them.

When we had this table made last term,
we never imagined our own family would fill it one day!
Who would have thought that by making eight places available we'd one day be a family of eight! It was sitting in storage our first year back and just recently we brought it to our current house. It's been fun rearranging our "dining" and so nice to have more space for our growing family...and friends!

"In everything GIVE THANKS"
This has been our theme for this year as God has been stretching us.
It has been a big change to move off the paved road and live more rural this term.
It is something we will always be working on, giving thanks in everything.
But we thank the Lord for all He has blessed us with!

Last year it was HOT...oh, so hot for Thanksgiving. This year, however, brought cool breezes and a rain storm. We, along with most of our team, headed to the "Floyd Farm" for the day and enjoyed a delicious meal together, good fellowship and refreshing rain showers. I was so thankful for the cooler weather and the chance to not cook the main meal and chit chat with good friends. The kids had a blast too soaking in fun times with their MK friends. Thankful for a great SIM Paraguay team!
It's so nice to read family updates, especially when they start off on a good note like Toby's fever finally breaking. Miss you all so much!
