Random Update
Goodness, what else are we doing with our time besides spending lots of it with family and friends? Well, part of spending time with our family and friends is updating many of them on all that happened while we were in Paraguay for four years. We still have many that we need to meet with! God has blessed us abundantly with good friendships and supporters of our ministry and we are excited to share pictures and stories to those who helped us do what we did during our four years in South America.
But we are also working on raising the remainder of the support we need in order to return to Paraguay some time next year. We are currently working on putting together a concert/fundraiser that we are super excited about and Dan is always in the office or out and about sharing what God is doing in Paraguay through our ministry. This past Sunday he shared with a youth group, spoke at Kiwanis on Tuesday, met one on one with three different people, and skyped with a guy in New Zealand about his future role in youth ministry in Paraguay. We've also been meeting with our pastor once a week enjoying this time alone together by incorporating a "date" into our time away from the children. The biggest thing on my agenda at the moment is getting us officially registered for home schooling with New York state (if you didn't know, NY is one of the strictest states concerning homeschool regulations and the deadline is June 15th!). I kind of started with Eli last fall but then with us packing up and moving didn't continue "officially". Eli turns six in September and NY requires that all children by age 6 be in some sort of formal education. I'm actually looking forward to this as I think I have finally figured out what I am doing!! (thank you Sarah)
So in addition to all the "other" stuff that is necessary to keep a lively family of six up and running, that is it in a nutshell. In case you were wondering...
