TWO Today

Well, it’s official.  As of last Thursday Judah has entered the ‘terrible twos’.  But thanks to his mentor, Silas, he’s already well trained in many of the ways of naughtiness.  He knows some words in English and Guarani though he does tend to say “no” when he means ‘yes’ and insists that he’s turned ‘three’.  People can’t believe how sociable and charming he is.  Judah doesn’t seem to have figured out that mommy’s growing tummy will end his status as the ‘ipahague’ (Guarani for ‘last born’) but he sure is enjoying it while it lasts! 

Fun things about JJ:
Lately he's the first one up.  Running to daddy's side with a clear, too happy for that hour "DADDY!"
Cute little pouty lip when in trouble
Plays happily outside...loves the freedom to run around and explore on his own (so thankful for fenced in yard and older siblings)
Sleeps through the night
Good napper...every day 1 1/2 -2 hours and when he wakes up he knocks on his door to be let out :)
Says "please" and pats his chest and "an oo" for thank you
LOVES balls
Always takes out a pitcher and guampa and pretends to pour terere
He and our dog Pemberley are pals although he can't go outside w/ his snack or she'll lick it.  yuck.
When he gets excited or wants me he repeats "mommy" "mommy" "mommy" "mommy"
Likes coffee like his cousin Ellis.  I don't quite finish my  cup during breakfast so as we're clearing the table and he's been let out of his seat, he immediately climbs up my chair and finishes my coffee!  He does this every time.  Guess the first time was all he needed to know what was in there and he likes it!  You'd think I'd remember to put my cup on the counter! 
He says "baby" and today he pointed to his belly.  Hmmm...not quite right! 
He does love to chat and sing sometimes too.  Can't always understand him but he's vocal!   
Lots of words but I think my favorite word is "shoes".  It is so cute how he says it.
