Back at home...kind of

Youth Camp went great last week; my time at my teammate Renee's house went great also.  It gave both of us peace of mind knowing that I was closer to Dan, not to mention what a break it was for me to have every meal planned and prepared by someone else and the help with the kids.  The air condition was a bonus too, can't deny it!  Dan even came out half way through for a meeting and I got to spend some time with him that afternoon.

Now we are home.  Camp ended Saturday and we headed back to San Francisco a couple hours before the bus arrived bringing the YWAM group we are hosting to us.  We had a relaxing Sunday and yesterday and today Dan and the group have been working on our SIM Camp property doing various work projects.  Eli and Toby got to go along and have been having fun.  Today even my teammate Amy offered to take S, S, and J for the afternoon as a special treat for them and again for me.  Talk about that warm fuzzy feeling when you feel so overwhelmingly blessed!  The group leaves us tomorrow morning and then in a couple of days we head up to the city where the hospital is to await the arrival of our little girl.  It has been a full past two weeks with many blessings but I think we are all looking forward to some down time and time together as a family.

Thanks for praying with us during this busy time full of lots of transitions and traveling!

  2. I am glad that you had such a good time the past two weeks, and that others have been giving you an opportunity to relax some by sharing time with the kids so you can put your feet up. Looking forward to hearing all about that new little girl soon. Will continue to hold you all up in prayer.
