In the city now til....not exactly sure. It all depends on when this little girl decides to make her debut and as long as she is strong and healthy, which so far she is! Actually met the doctor today who will deliver her and we both feel very comfortable with him even though I am a bit nervous of going into labor and trying to communicate in Spanish! It's a whole new list of vocabulary for sure.
Speaking of lists, last night I sat down and made up little lists for at least the rest of this week and it turns out it was a good thing I did that because according to the doctor, our new girl might not want to join us on the outside til next week. That was hard to hear. I know none of my other children have ever come early and in fact, I have had to be induced with the last three but a girl can still hope, right?! It was a little hard to take but I kept my composure until I was safely in the truck and then I let myself cry. Nothing new, I shouldn't be surprised but this pregnancy has been very different from the others and I am sore and tired. Dan, of course, reminded me that for him the most important thing is that we are safe and OK, which we are. So after some prayer and refocusing I am tackling my lists which includes a bit of shopping, time and resuming school lessons with the kiddos, hair appointments, dentist appointments, watching movies, dates with my hubby and just hanging out. Might even include some blog updating ;).
Check out the great photos my friend Amy took last week before we left SF. We've been scouting Pinterest for different photo ideas so the day before we left for the city our family went out to her place and did a photo shoot. The kids did great considering it was HOT!! Judah was our little stinker though but he is two. Hidden candy and promises of chocolate helped a bit. :)
I even brought props with me to capture some newborn shots. I'm not sure we're going to be able to fold her in half like some pics we've seen b/c my babies aren't usually born small but who knows?!?! I have lace, headbands, a tutu I made for her and her cute brothers and sister to work with. Should be fun!!
Thanks for sharing these pictures. We are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers as the time for your little girl to arrive gets closer. Hope that your time in the city allows you some time to relax. We will await the pictures with all the props that you have brought with you. Praying that all goes well and the Lord continues to watch over you all. Be sure and have Dan let us know as soon as she arrives so we can share the good news with your church family here at Memorial.

& please tell Samantha how beautiful she is! I can't believe how tall she's getting although it shouldn't surprise me at all since she is a Hough. :) Her smile makes me smile. <3
