how's life?

My husband is a talented musician and is always writing new songs for camps, worship, our family, me and has written a special song for each of the children. Before we left for Paraguay we performed a coffee house with some of our closest friends who all happen to be talented musicians as well. It was great to hear Dan’s songs brought to life and be filled with even more passion. We even have a name for our family band: how’s life? Get it?!?!

Recently our good friends Bill & Jen sent Dan a new CD for his birthday that inspired him to write a new song. Click here to listen to a rough recording.

Maybe we’ll get to do another coffee house while we’re on home assignment next year 2010. It has been four years and we all have children now but you never know…

Lyrics:
You are the Lord of all the earth and the sky
You made the beast that creeps and the bird that flies

Then you made me in your image but who am I?
A little lower than the angels Lord, take this life

All things exist to praise your name
And I live to spread your fame
I will bow and I will obey
Because you loved me now I love you
And praise your name

God Spirit hovered over the formless void
God Father spoke and made something good
God Son sustains it by His Word
It’s all from you, through you and to you…be praise

  2. Rock and Roll Danno! I like that little jam part right after the chorus. Dude, I think the last time I played my viola was at your last coffee house!
