Back Online

Finally, after almost two weeks of no internet we are back online and way behind!! Every day Dan was calling our internet company and apparently we were on "high priority" status for a week. This morning the guys finally showed up and I am nearly giddy with excitement! Dan and I were almost racing to see who got to use the computer first but I had called dibs on it a couple of days ago so I could blog of course!! Sounds ridiculous, I know, especially since we're spoiled by even having a decent connection (when it's working) in a third world country. And, it's not like we haven't had other things to do with a newborn, readjusting to Caazapa after 25 days in the city, Dan helping to plan an overnight youth camp this Saturday, unpacking suitcases, organizing and getting some "school" things ready for Eli (who turns 5 in Sept.), and occasionally sleeping! It's crazy how "useless' we felt at times without the internet. Like I said, ridiculous, I know!

But in reality, it has become a huge outlet, a "lifeline" at times, for me as I wrangle preschoolers all day. I didn't realize how therapeutic communicating with my mom and sister throughout the week and more recently, blogging, was for me. So, we are back and have some catching up to do! I have a list of at least 15 different posts I've been writing on our white board so I wouldn't forget...better get started (at least while Silas is sleeping!).
