Catching up?

Barely. At least I've been home for a full week now with another full week coming up and I feel like things are starting to get under control. October was a busy month for us with lots of travelling only to come home for two or three days, unpack, repack and travel again. We did some great things, had some wonderful times with family, and even got away for a few days but all of those things on top of lots of rain and my house help walking out on us and then our internet again not working for a few days have made me feel a bit overwhelmed concerning all of my responsibilities. As I've been wading through laundry and slowly unpacking bags (maybe the bathrooms will get clean one of these days!), I was reminded today of how much we have and what is really important. My daughter celebrated her second birthday Friday, we were able to host the DID of Americas for SIM and were extremely encouraged by his wisdom and insight, Eli lost his second tooth, and when we sit down to eat pizza in the living room for family night I am surrounded by children and a husband who is there for me and helps me. Even if we can never fully catch up before it is time to pack up again I know it will be OK.
