Yesterday we had a fantastic day in San Francisco with our teammates. This was our final Thanksgiving at the "Floyd Farm" as next year the Floyds go on home assignment and then move to a different town when they return to Paraguay.
We began our day with prayer and remembering all the things we have to be thankful for. We then loaded up the truck and drove the 45 minutes to SF, enjoying the air condition as it was another hot and sticky day.
The children made table decorations as a homeschool project. Eli, Toby and Sammie's creation is on the left.
Good food. Good friends. And what's a good time without terere?!?!
Some even helped raise a fallen tree house. The kids swam.
A play. Homeschool presentations. A time of worship.
It was a full day. A day of many things to be thankful for.
As we were saying our goodbyes, Jean Floyd and I concurred,
"Everyone needs a mission family."
"Everyone needs a mission family."
Sarah- I LOVE Sammie's polka dot dress! It must be strange to have such a warm Thanksgiving, but it looks like you all had a great day!
