She wouldn't touch her. She said "Baby is sick. What happened? No."
Yes, Mommy cried more than Sammie did. I don't think Sammie even cried actually but something was wrong with Baby.

Gasp! What did happen? While at SIM, the children have been watched over in the SIM KIDS house, a wonderful new addition to the SIM complex here in the USA, while Dan and I had our re-entry interview Thursday morning and our financial review this morning. Yesterday Sammie brought her Baby to the SIM KIDS house. Well, she was a bit worn looking but she was so loved and Sammie has long hair b/c of this special baby. One of the volunteers didn't realize it was Sammie's and thought it was a ratty looking doll and being of the grandmotherly type took it upon herself to tidy her up thus cutting off all the hair and the fraying ribbon on the dress. Ahhh...I held my tongue. I tried to keep a straight face so as not to sway Sammie either way but alas, she wouldn't even touch her. Thursday night I checked on Sammie as she was sleeping and sure enough, her tiny fingers were now wrapped around her own hair.
Enter Baby. Same name. We let Sammie choose.
OH NO!!! Poor Baby and poor Sammie.
ReplyDeleteOh, we will pray that she attaches to her new baby quickly!
