You know, the kind of friend that lasts a life time. One who knows the good, the bad and the ugly and still likes you? Kind of like a sister in that way. Then, that good friend shares your faith and you go to church with them and pray with them.

Meet Mary. We have known each other since sixth grade volleyball. We practiced together, danced together (remember SMAJ?!?), edited yearbooks together, graduated together. Then...we kind of went our separate ways. Off to college. Many miles apart. She got married first. She had a baby first. Then I got married and had a baby. Then I moved to another country. Thousand of miles apart. Yet, somehow, after so many years of not seeing each other, we can pick up where we left off.
Too busy talking I didn't even think of taking any pictures. Good thing Dan had the camera and snapped a few shots! We arrived at her apartment Saturday afternoon and enjoyed lunch together with her and her son Ian and daughter Summer. After some fun at the park and the ocean, we ate dinner back at her place along with her husband Kevin. Sunday we went to church with Mary and her kids, sharing lunch again before heading further South.
It was so wonderful to see you Mary and spend time with you, your kids and Kevin. Thank you! I miss you already!
