Dos Davids

Meet Francisco David.

He was born exactly one week after our Silas David on July 24th.

His parents, Roney and Dolly, live at the church.

Roney is one of Dan's disciples and they try to meet once a week when Roney is able to. I have enjoyed getting to know Dolly as we spend time together talking about our babies. She also has a four year old, Diego, that the boys LOVE to play with and her orphaned sister, Sarita, (who she takes care of as a daughter) loves Sammie!

It is always nice to spend time with her and her children even though it does get "uncomfortable". I am learning how to handle the "uncomfortable" silences, the blank stares after I say something and sometimes the laughter too!!

People seem to get a kick out of the fact that our new boys both have the name "David". Dolly calls her little boy David and it has been interesting trying to get people to understand that our little boy's name is Silas. Yes, Silas David but we do not call him David. Well, we try to get them to understand but inevitably they end up saying David.
