Today was the last day, ending with an all night party to celebrate CIMA's 20th anniversary. Dan will be writing more about this week long youth mission's conference after he returns!
The kids and I dropped him off to get on the bus last Friday. We've been able to get emails from him almost every day. Honestly, this is the longest we have ever been apart without actually talking to each other. Even while we were dating we saw each other almost every day. It's been interesting learning to communicate via email, something we've never had to do. Eli, Toby and Sammie have been doing great. Yesterday they all seemed a bit sad but after hearing today "only two more days" they seem better. We are all ready for him to be home with us! I have so much respect for military wives and others who constantly have to say good bye and endure lengthy separations. I know I am blessed to spend so much time with my husband on a daily basis and I pray that I will remember to not take it for granted!!
I wonder if he happened to bump into Mike & Trish Goddard from New Tribes? Of course, I know there were like a million people there! :)
